Educational and Professional Background: Jamie obtained his B.S. degree from McNeese State University in 1992 and then completed an internship in Medical Technology.  After working as a Medical Technologist from 1993 to 1997, he entered law school at the University of Arkansas School of Law, Fayetteville, in 1997.  While in law school, Jamie was a member of the Arkansas Law Review and chairman of the Board of Advocates.  He competed on the national trial advocacy team, and was a regional champion in the national moot court competition.  Jamie obtained his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Arkansas School of Law in 2000, graduating summa cum laude and second in his class.  He is admitted to practice in all Arkansas State Courts, the Eastern and Western District Courts of Arkansas, and the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals.  Jamie has been listed in Best Lawyers in America since 2006, and has been regularly recognized as one of the Best Lawyers in Arkansas by the Arkansas Times.  He was also listed as a Mid-South Rising Star in 2008, and has been included in Mid-South Super Lawyers since 2009.  He is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, Arkansas Bar Association, Washington County Bar Association, and the William B. Putman American Inn of Court.  Jamie practices in all areas of civil litigation, with an emphasis in medical malpractice, legal malpractice, and representation of other professionals.

Personal:  Jamie graduated from high school in Lake Charles, Louisiana and attended college there as well.  He moved to Fayetteville in 1997 to attend law school, loved the area, and has remained here since that time.  He is married to Shem, and they have three children, Hunter, Hayden, and Emma Claire.  He enjoys spending time with all three of his children and coaching competitive youth baseball.
